At first glance, you might be surprised that we use the term “fast” for our sea freight delivery timeframes. Unfortunately, shipping has changed since 2020. In today’s distribution world, some companies are quoting delivery timeframes of up to 50 weeks. That’s one year!
Sea Freight Arrival Time to Eurolink’s U.S. Facility:
Arrival at our U.S. facility within 6-8 weeks once the monthly consolidated order leaves Europe.
Sea Freight Delivery Time to Customer:
Eurolink ships all delivered goods to our customers within approximately 1 week of arrival at our U.S. facility.
Every month, Eurolink consolidates one order from our Germany facility for sea freight. You’ll need to watch for the deadline to place your order to ensure your fasteners are part of the shipment.

Generally, order deadlines are in the middle of the month. We send monthly reminders to ensure customers don’t miss this affordable freight option. Order deadlines are by 4 p.m. EST on the final ordering day of the month.
This shipment option is extremely affordable for those who have the time to wait for the delivery. Our Eurolink sales team includes sea freight pricing on all of our custom quotes.
Air freight is obviously faster than sea freight but does cost more. However, this shipping option does allow for more flexibility for when you order your fasteners and the timing in which they arrive.
Air Freight Arrival Time to Eurolink’s U.S. Facility:
Arrival at our U.S. facility is expected within 1-2 weeks once the weekly consolidated order leaves Europe.
Air Freight Delivery Time to Customer:
Eurolink ships all delivered goods to our customers within approximately 24-48 hours of arrival at our U.S. facility.
Every Wednesday, we ship hard-to-find fasteners from our facility in Europe. This service helps our customers get their supplies faster when they need speedy deliveries or they miss this month’s sea freight order deadline.
To get in on these weekly shipments, you’ll need to place your order by 4 p.m. EST each Tuesday. But don’t worry, if you miss this week’s shipment, you’re only one week away from our next air freight shipment. Your Eurolink representative will include air freight pricing on all of our fastener quotes.
Express freight shipments may provide you with the fastest delivery option, but it’s also the most expensive and is generally only used when a company needs its fasteners as soon as possible. But knowing that you’ve chosen a fastener partner who can get you your shipments when you absolutely need them, can provide incredible peace of mind. You won’t need to jump around to different importers to get the unique fasteners you need in the fastest time frame possible. Eurolink can accommodate your express delivery needs when you are in a pinch. Express orders ship from our European partners within 24-48 hours after a customer order is placed with Eurolink.
Express Air Freight Arrival Time to Eurolink’s U.S. Facility:
Arrival at our U.S. facility is expected within 4-7 days once the express order leaves Europe.
Express Air Freight Delivery Time to Customer:
In most cases, Eurolink ships all delivered goods to our customers on the same day of arrival to our U.S. facility.
Because this is a very costly option, and not used daily, we normally only quote express air freight upon requests. You won’t see this option in your standard offers from Eurolink, but it is definitely available to you. When you contact our sales team, be sure to request our express freight option when you need delivery in approximately 2-3 weeks.
The faster your fastener delivery, the more it will cost. That’s why we find that our weekly consolidated air freight is the most popular delivery option. It balances cost with speed and flexibility.
Because you can place your order weekly, it helps most of our customers stay agile in ordering fasteners and avoid over-ordering. You won’t have to worry about meeting monthly deadlines or be at risk of waiting until next month to get your order in.
